Further on, we will greet the famous Manneken Pis, which needs no introduction due to its well-known reputation.
Next, we will head towards the Saint-Jacques neighborhood, Boulevard Anspach, and the impressive Senne River, which “gave birth” to the city. We will also pass by Saint-Géry Island and its historic covered market from the 19th century.
During our stroll towards Sainte-Catherine Square and its magnificent church, an architectural gem, we will encounter the astonishing Zinneke Pis, whose name is simply Zinneke!
This free walk in Brussels will take us to a more medieval Brussels. In fact, we will meet genuine pieces of Brussels history, as we will have the pleasure of admiring the old beguinage, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, and the Black Tower, the only remnant of the first wall built around the city.
We will conclude our morning stroll with a more modern Brussels and set out to explore De Brouckère Square, the Place de la Monnaie, the Royal Saint-Hubert Galleries, and Charles Buls Square.
