Itinerary:

We will start our Belgian beer tasting journey in Brussels on the Grand-Place where you will meet one of our specialist guides on the subject. Before starting the beer testing you will partially learn some of the history and tradition of Belgian beer making, including the famous guild the “Belgian brewers”. The “Belgian brewers” are a cooperation that are still located today in the city of Brussels.

From there on wards you will discover the first bar, “À la mort Subite” which is where you will experience the famous Gueuze or Lambic beers of spontaneous fermentation. As these specialties are only produced in Belgium, and originating from the Senne valley, now would be the best time to taste them!

Continuing the tour to the very historical Royal Theater of Toone, as it is important to the life and history of Brussels. Also a fun fact, the traditional Brussels puppet theater is the only one still in operation today.

The second place of testing will be at A l’Imaige Nostre-Dame, which is one of the oldest bars in the city and is said to be as old as the city itself. Here you will try low fermentation beers called white beers; these beers have less alcohol meaning this type if beer is normally drunk fresh than those with high fermentation. Here you will also discover beers known as ‘red beers’ that are a mix between bottom fermentation and top fermentation beers.

After that, we will pass by the Délirium Café, the mythical bar of Brussels, with more than 2,000 beers on its menu. It is an obligatory stop for this tour on Belgian beer.

To conclude our Belgian beer tasting tour in Brussels, we will head to Les Halles Saint-Géry and its old covered market, where we will taste high fermentation beers such as abbey beers or Trappist beers. By the last beer in Brussels you will be true connoisseurs of Belgian beer!
